  the governing body has lovingly provided instructions and reminders to couples that they should pray before having sex.

  please be obedient and follow the wise counsel from the gb leaders who never stick their noses into other peoples business and are not creepy cult leaders at all....not!.

  "had he not created the first human pair so that they could cohabit, planted in them an attraction for each other and then commanded them to "be fruitful and become many"?

  Hi I haven't posted for a while but I have a question and would appreciate any advice offered.

  I left the cult 2 years ago and I'm so happy now. I struggled at first and with the help of the lovely men and women on here I got stronger and started to find myself and ive grown as a person (I'm not being told who I am or who I should be anymore). I also actually have a life now and good friends.
  

  Anyway my question is this. My ex is still a jw and feels it's his mission to indoctrinate our son as he grows. How can i counteract this? I seriously do not want him interested in being a jw.

  Getting Remarried after a spouses death & then they are resurrected after Armageddon ?

  hi guys .

  i was wondering about the above , if a jw is allowed to remarry if a spouse has died, then what happens when they are resurrected at armageddon, do u land up with two wives/husbands ,,,,,,, makes no sense to me & can the jw's be so dumb not to think about this or have i got it wrong ?

  and i will not be asking my uber jw husband , don't have the energy.. thanks.

  going past a 'new-age' shop today i stupidly said to my most 'uber' wife, do you want a reading?

  " ..not a good idea.. oh dear.. she opened up correcting my every other word and brought in a stream of jw speak and now many hours later is still steaming under an acute cloud of sol.. oh god keep me from being so stupid; cut out my tongue, glue my teeth together.

  Zeb I agree with one eyed joe coz it's what my marriage was like and it killed me emotionally eventually and I broke down and had to separate for my health and my children. I hope you don't get to the stage of being emotionally and mentally broken

  My jw husband who've I've been separated from for over a year asked me today if I'll file for a divorce coz he's seeing someone else who isn't a jw. The elders don't know he's in a relationship and he'll get disfellowshiped if they find out. He only wants me to file for it so he doesn't have to pay and so he can say I asked for the divorce.

  When my husband was in his deepest throes of depression and his mental health was out of control I told an elder that I'd been encouraging him to go for counselling and the elder held up his bible and said "the best counselling is in this".

  No wonder there are so Many jws with long term depression, anxiety, mental health problems if they aren't allowed to get professional help. I wonder how many have committed suicide in the religion because they were discouraged from getting outside professional help.

  How do you feel about your JW childhood?

  i was 5 years old when my mother was baptised.

  we went from celebrating xmas to no presents or decorations.

  we would still go to my unbelieving aunty's house on xmas day, all of my cousins would be playing with their new toys and would wonder why i didn't have any.

  This is my first year celebrating Xmas In 13 years and my mum reckons I'm more excited than my kids are lol. My ex is still a jw and I can't bring my youngest up who is his with the excitement of Santa coming, coz my ex will destroy his fun and make me out to be a liar to my son. So we're doing everything except say the presents are from Santa. I have my tree and some decorations, I have done most of my present shopping and have them all wrapped, I'm at my mum's on Xmas eve and Xmas day to spend my kids first Xmas as a family
